I would like to see relative utility meter readings for the last week, last 30 days or last year. So not current day, week or month but f.i. totals from 26th of februari until now automatically when I select last month.
Hi @Erik_Hagemeijer, I suppose you mean on energy dashboard? I like the idea, but cant’t help you with that.
Maybe you are interested in an alternative? I saw this post to create an SQL entity to show energy usage of past 365 days. It can be modified for other time periods. This way you can create your own entities to show on a dashboard.

The trouble with that is that it would require the utility meter to recalculate the total depending on the current date. That is not how the utility meter works. It simply accumulates from a sensor until a reset trigger occurs. It does not interrogate the database to calculate the total.
It would probably be easier to add a new “total” type to the History Stats sensor than change the utility meter.
Wait. That is what the Utility meter can do now and is the opposite of what you asked for in your first sentence. Are you talking about this?
