Repository: Homebridge add-on

sorry,I am chinese and just know a little bit of English,homebridge is only use to iPhone,no iPhone,you can use Hassio.

Hey, struggling to install on hass.io. Repo installed and trying to install package - getting the following message in the logs.
17-07-29 12:24:01 INFO (SyncWorker_17) [hassio.dock] Pull image olivierguerriat/hassio-addon-homebridge-armhf tag 0.2. 17-07-29 12:24:05 ERROR (SyncWorker_17) [hassio.dock] Can't install olivierguerriat/hassio-addon-homebridge-armhf:0.2 -> 404 Client Error: Not Found ("No such image: olivierguerriat/hassio-addon-homebridge-armhf:0.2").

yeelgiht BLE can use on the homebridge and not Hassio, but the homebridge is only use on iphone.

I’ve tried to set this up but it won’t even start :neutral_face:

After installing it if I click the Start button it flashes red and then doesn’t do anything (so nothing in the Logs).

I added my password for Hass.io to ‘config.json’ and the Start button still flashes red then does nothing when clicking Start.

Is there anything I should check to get it working? Also, should I leave “host”: “http://172.17.0.1:8123” as it is or add the IP address of my Pi? I’ve tried both and still nothing.

Hey Jono,

Same is happening to me. The place I found the error log is on:

Hass.io > Top Right 3x Dots > Advanced Settings > Supervisor Panel - View Logs

Let me know it it’s the same for you? Might be a problem for all of us

I’ve installed the Homebridge add-on but can’t find it in any of my iOS devices. I’ve also tried changing username and password, but that doesn’t seem to help.

Any ideas what else I could try to make it work?

The log at least looks fine to me:

this is the supervisor logs for homebridge

Hi - i’m having the same problem. My none of my IOS 10 devices can detect homebridge. I did look at my supervisory logs. Not sure what this means but something appears to be a problem/mis-configured. Thoughts?

Same issue here. I ended up having to run home-bridge on a separate computer to get Siri/iOS to work for now.

Hello all, sorry for the trouble you’re facing. I will do my best to identify the issues and update the add-on next week.

In the meantime, please check out the Homebridge’s documentation. Following these instructions will surely solve at least some of the issue faced.

thanks, we know you can. My solution right now is to use other RPi to run homebridge (my old working system) like what derrick1985 do.

Hi,
I’ve tried but it does not work

I installed homebridge on my raspberry pi3 with hassio v0.5. In the log files I see homebridge started and recognizing all my zwave switches. However, on my iPhone I can detect any devices.
I tried changing the user name MAC address, adding the password and deleting the persistent folder, to no avail.
Any ideas how to fix this problem?

I have the same issue… Using pi3, HassIO 0.5 with duckdns and let’s encrypt going. None of my iOS-devices can detect and add the accessory (running iOS 10.3.3 on both devices). I’ve tried changing the username and also deleting the persist folder.

My config looks like this

{
  "bridge": {
    "name": "Home Assistant",
    "username": "CD:22:3D:E3:CE:99",
    "port": 51826,
    "pin": "031-45-154"
  },
  "description": "Homebridge for Home Assistant",
  "accessories": [],
  "platforms": [
    {
      "platform": "HomeAssistant",
      "name": "HomeAssistant",
      "host": "https://xxxxxxxxx.duckdns.org:8123",
      "password": "xxxxxxx",
      "supported_types": ["binary_sensor", "climate", "cover", "device_tracker", "fan", "group", "input_boolean", "light", "lock", "scene", "sensor", "switch"],
      "logging": true,
	  "verify_ssl": false
    }
  ]
}

Everything in HassIO seems to be working and I get “[8/1/2017, 2:56:50 PM] Homebridge is running on port 51826.” when I start the addon.
