When my system is re-started commands via RFLink aren’t sent until a command is first received.
e.g light.tristate_02a2aa_2 is shown as off but if I try to switch it to on, the slider moves on screen, but the corresponding device does nothing and after a couple of seconds the slider moves back to off.
I’ve got a spare RFLink running serial port logging and there is nothing sent out.
But if I send a command to the device using the original remote, the status is updated and I can the switch the device as normal. The RF command is shown on the spare RFLink logging. Other devices however don’t work and nothing is transmitted until each device recieves an RF signal. I can also use the spare RFLink to send the commands in the same way as the remote.
This scenario only occurs after a restart, and once RF commands are received by the RFLink connected to HA everything is working as it should.
I’m running…
Home Assistant Core 2022.6.1
Home Assistant Supervisor 2022.07.0
Home Assistant OS 8.1
RLink firmware Version 1.1 Revision 48
I’m loathe to update to the latest releases (Core 2022.8.0 and OS 8.4) since I saw this post
Is anyone else aware of this?
I’ve done a quick search, but nothing jumped out.
I wasn’t going to use these devices, but they are MUCH more reliable that the Tuya sockets I’ve got connected, as they don’t ramdomly switch off every couple of days.
