My Rheem Water Heater device can show like a thermostat when I click the entity, but I can’t add that card to my dashboard. Am I missing something?

I came here to ask the same thing.
My new A. O. Smith integration lets me see my heatpump water heater but how come the “more info” view kicks ass but you cannot actually have that on your dashboard???

I am new here and assume this is normal for Home Assistant and that I need to find some custom card implementation to get this interactive display with the circular temp control but don’t understand why.
At least I’m not the only one. LOL
I haven’t figured out a way to show the water heater like the thermostat design in the more info popup either. It’s frustrating. But not new…
