Just saw your posting of the github code. Sounds interesting. For which series of Robmow is the code already working? RC RK ?
I’m not sure , didn’t test yet…
There is also this , being discussed on same GitHub page on the ideas section…
Robotic lawn mowers are such a game-changer. I remember when I decided to give one a try after struggling to keep up with my yard work. It was like having a little helper constantly trimming the grass, freeing up time for other tasks—like planting creeping thyme in my garden. The convenience and efficiency are unbeatable.
Hi. Great setup. Could you please give som more info on the diodes?:
- Why do you have them?
- Direction?
- What kind of spec on the diodes?

Does anyone here have a Stiga A series Robot Mower, like a Stiga A1500 (that we have). I have reverse engineered and implemented an API and some diagnostic tools (battery charge, consumption, signal/satellite heatmaps, etc) and would be interested in a couple of people who also want to test out the API/tools. You need some level of technical competency and I can help. The tools are implemented in NodeJS and I operate them on Debian box. I do not use home assistant, so any integration with it is not my primary interest : if you want to do that, you can take the journey and I can help you. The API and tools are here: GitHub - matthewgream/stiga-api: Stiga API for Robot Mowers A-series (2025). And here’s an example of the heatmap !
