I’m new Home Assistant and trying to add all the things , including my roomba (i3+), but it can’t seem to pull the password either manually or automatically. I’ve followed the directions provided (iRobot Roomba and Braava - Home Assistant ) and found some links with references to vastly instances of Home Assistant (not sure how solutions like docker exec
or pip
translate to HAOS).

Recently, I moved my HA container installation to an HA-Yellow box. Most everything works correctly except the iRobot integration. I cannot get it to connect to the Roomba. I have the password that I use in my Docker install where it works correctly. Imagining that the password could be fungible, I went through the retrieval procedure again and the password is identical. The message received is:

How did you get on with this? I just got a really cheap , new, i2 and i cant integrate it
Unfortunately I don’t have anything useful to report at the moment as I’m stuck on another problem:
But once i get that up and running, I’ll certainly give this another shot.

I got the i2 added in the end, really easy and assume it will work with others, try this…
