RTL_433 on Home Assistant OS?

I’m running Home Assistant OS 13.2 on a Pi 4. I was hoping to try out RTL_433 in hope of capturing weather sensor data, but quickly realized Home Assistant OS isn’t Debian, and apt doesn’t work. What should I do?

One thought I had was to just install Raspberry Pi OS on a separate Pi, and install RTL_433 there instead. Anyone else been in this situation?

Welcome and thanks for asking a question here.

There is probably an add-on out there you can load for that. Possibly a custom integration on Github that you can get to with HACS.
You probably need some hardware.
