Schluter DITRA-HEAT Home Assistant Integration

thanks! nuheat system being purchased now, then.

I have a Schluter DITRA-HEAT-E-WiFi Thermostat and it works fine with Home Assistant. I used the custom integration from here: GitHub - IngoS11/ha-schluter: An alternative to the default Schluter integration in Homeassistant. When setting up that integration it asks for the login/password that the WiFi thermostat uses. Should be the same one that you can use to login online at https://ditra-heat-e-wifi.schluter.com/. Here’s what the integration looks like in the Overview:

Just gave this a try myself and HA keeps saying my email address is invalid - but it’s not. Is there some kind of formatting required for this integration’s username and password?

Edit: I believe the problem is the integration is looking for a Canadian account (as configured by my HA instance) but my Schluter account is an American account and this integration has no country override.

This is the device that I have. I setup my account from the app in playstore.

I even got the confirmation,

Logger: homeassistant.components.schluter
Source: components/schluter/__init__.py:72
integration: schluter (documentation, issues)
First occurred: 6:27:28 AM (1 occurrences)
Last logged: 6:27:28 AM

Invalid email provide

this is what I use in config:

schluter:
  username: !secret schluter_username
  password: !secret schluter_password

yes I copied and pasted the secret name, yes the secret file works because that’s how I have spotify api keys configured… Yes I have restarted home assistant and reloaded config…

Same problem, got the thermostat working fine but the integration is not working. Has anyone found a solution to this perhaps? (I’m in the US)

Hi,
I also cant integrate the new DITRA-HEAT-E WIFI in HA.
Region: Europe/Germany

are there any news how to integrate it?

Same issue, the DITRA-HEAT-E-RS1 I just installed does not recognize the email address I used to register with the mobile app. Any workarounds for these models yet?

I gave up and figured out a way to do the setup via homekit instead.

Homekit asked for the code, XXX-XX-XXX where did you find it?

the box has a code. I don’t know if there’s a way to get it off the device…

Thanks

Found it on a card inside.
The app doesnt have it and the link for instructions on Schluter’s site talk about adding through an Apple device.

Works slick and creates a real climate entity. Just don’t lose that card.

I have a Watts Suntouch Connect Plus and I ordered a NuHeat Signature to test.

I dont think there’s a Watts integration.

I kind of like the look of the Watts unit better, but I do like the single screen and physical heat setting buttons of the Schluter. The wiring connections of the Schluter are better. Don’t care for the mirrored front though.

Does the integration still work for the Schluter DITRA-HEAT-E-WiFi Thermostat? I’m about to have in-floor heat installed and need to choose a thermostat.

Yes, this is the HACS one that still works for me:

I tested
Watts Suntouch (no HA integration I could find)
Nuheat
Schluter

The Nuheat integration paired quickly, there did seem to be a bit of a delay since it is a web server based integration.

I couldn’t get either Schluter integration to work.

The Schluter Apple Homekit Device integration auto identified the device and after pairing works great. It’s also a local integration and very responsive.

I don’t care for the mirrored face on the Schluter unit, but the hard temp adjust buttons are nice. It’s a simple one page display with no options but all the info available. The Schluter back wire terminals are superior to both Nuheat (rear clamps) and Watts (screws).

The Nuheat interface is dated, the large buttons at the bottom should be icons that link to popup menus. The single page display is too busy.

I liked the Watts display the best because it best matches the look of the Ecobee T-stats, and it has three options, and several customization settings. The app seemed to be more responsive than the Nuheat app. But with no HA integration, I abandoned it.

I have the newer E-RS1 thermostats. SchluterĀ®-DITRA-HEAT-E-RS1 | Thermostats | Schluter

It seems that they use a different account and possibly API to control it. This is controlled by a different app than the E-Wifi models:

Just use the Homekit interface to integrate it. It is local and real time and works fine.

The QR and info is on a sticker on the circuit board be hind the panel of the thermostat.
