Could anyone give a step by step on how to install either of these? At a total loss on this. can ssem to get to anywhere it is possible to use apt get install or anything like it.
Any direction I would greatly appreciate.

I not sure if this hepls or not. that looks to be setting the serial connection up on a win10 system and not the HA raspberry installion. Hoping not to have to run multiple systems.

@trissa The sending side is on W10, the receiving side is on HA (running on HyperV)
Since hyperV doesn’t support USB i needed to find a way to connect my CS2531 USB to HA.
I solved this by using Ser2net
