Setting up new associations

Hi,
I’ve migrated from Fibaro Homecenter to my brand new Home Assistant Green. Apart from removing and including all my devices again the transition went really smooth.

There is just one issue I’m struggling with: How to create new associations. I understand the concept of associations but nowhere in the UI can I find the interface to create new associations. There is plenty of support but this seems to be for a different UI. Am I missing the obvious here?

What do you mean by association? This is not a term used by HA as far as I am aware.

It is in z-wave.

Do you use z-waveJS or ZwaveJS-UI? For the latter go to the Addon webUI, pick a node, select groups on the left:

For battery operated devices mke sure you wake them before applying changes.

Thanks Edwin, I’ve installed the Zwave JS UI add on but it looks like I’m going to need to configure all my devices, scenes and automations again if I switch to this add on. There is no option to set association with the default add-on? Thank you

Setting associations from HA is technically possible but difficult and not advised.

You can migrate your existing configuration instead of starting over.
