It would be great to integrate the Sharp TV Component which has been developed by @bthome

I have the component posted at https://github.com/bthome/HA-component-sharpTV

Would like to see the underlying sharp library to add a few more tweaks to make it easier to work with (i.e. return codes and timeout parameters)

It is specific to my TV (i.e. inputs), but would only require a few tweaks to make it work for most new Sharp TV’s. I’m a newbie to Python development so hopefully someone can pick this up and raise it to the standards of other HA components.

Thanks Brian. I am not a Python developer at all but let’s hope it gets picked up, tweaked and implemented as a component! Would be great!
