Shelly Blu Beacon Problem!

Hello,

I can’t get my Shelly Blu to work as a beacon tracker. I have entered the configuration.yaml

Example configuration.yaml entry
device_tracker:

• platform: bluetooth_le_tracker

Then restarted HA.
Where can I find the know_devices.yaml file? I cannot find the /Config folder.

known_devices.yaml is deprecated.

Known_devices.yaml is being phased out

The documentation on device tracing says that Know_device.yaml is being phased out. What replaces it?? or bette yet how do i replace it?

Is the documentation out of date?
Is there another alternative to incorporating a Shelly Beacon? I don’t understand the information on the link.

If the documentation refers to known_devices.yaml then it is out of date. You haven’t shown what documentation you are refering to.
