"Shopping List" Integration 2.0

Many uses for this besides only a shopping list. I was going to use it for a “to-do” list for making changes to hass for instance. This should be an enhancement request list to expand “shopping list” integration. Please note that we should request to re-invent the wheel similar to Google Keep, just try to take this to the next level and make it functional beyond just keeping track of a shopping list.

There have been a couple efforts to expand on this but have stopped:

Future Enhancements

  • Rename integration to “task list” or similar
  • Able to add multiple “lists”
  • Able to rename lists without removing integration and re-adding
  • Able to cross out list items without actually deleting
  • Able to clear/delete crossed out items
  • Able to assign items to person
  • Able to assign due date
  • Able to reorder list items

And it is something that’s on the dev’s radar: Multiple Shopping-lists - #4 by iantrich Of course, this is one of those topics that people will eventually want all the functionality of todo’ist, Grocy, and others… in which case, maybe what they should focus on is a super good integration with one of those!

Agreed but that thread is not a “feature request”, i’ll try to combine that one into this one and generates proper feature request votes.
