My zwave thermostat shows as two climate devices which I guess is expected. However this makes things hard to manage through Google Home and Apple Homekit. Is there a way to combine this into a single climate device?
I was able to “solve” this by using the MQTT thermostat. NodeRed reads the MQTT messages and adjusts the zwave thermostat as needed. It also updates the MQTT thermostat of any changes on the zwave thermostat. It’s working pretty well aside from some bugs with the Google Assistant and HomeKit components.
