I have developed an integration for Home Assistant that enables the interfacing of NMEA instruments via WiFi or TCP. This is ideal for those utilizing Signalk or an NMEA WiFi 0183 Gateway, allowing for straightforward integration of your instruments with Home Assistant. Additionally, there is an integration for serial cable connections.
