Smart Home Android Display Backlight and Relay Integration

Hi all,

I have bought a nice flush mount 10.1" Android Smart Home wall monitor at AliExpress with integrated backlight and relay output. This device runs on Android 13.

After installing the Home Assistant App and installing Automate to start Home Assistant at boot this device is working verry well and convenient.

However activating the backlight and relay output is not supported out of the box. I have asked the supplier for more information on using these outputs. They answered:

  1. We can provide the SDK, DEMO and documents in English for our devices, you can ask for it;
  2. For some functions, you need to do the app development to realize it.

The SDK, DEMO and documents in English referred to can be found here.

My programming knowledge stops at Copying, pasting and modifying YAML scripts for ESP Home. No clue what to do here.
Is there someone that has, or can, create a Android App that can be used by Home Assistant to set the backlight and relay?

Thanks!

I thought I had seen a similar request in the forums, but it took some hard searching to find it.
