I see people get this error all over the place. I’ve spent the past week trying ways to work past this with no success. Has anyone who got this error and got around it able to say what they did to achieve some success?
I’ve had this issue every time I’ve tried to load SmartThings… Removing the smartthings file in the storage folder has done the trick each time. These instructions were the simplest I’ve found yet…worked faster than having to load samba and mess with that: Error adding SmartThings Integration - Third party integrations - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io)
Thanks for this. In the mean time I had completely erased HA and started with a completely fresh install. I did this several times, making slight differences in the way I installed ST each time. It eventually worked - but I’m not sure what I did differently on that install
