Sonoff NSPanel Blueprint - Configure your own custom NSPanel easy via a Blueprint

Thx, changing the icon by calling the service from the developer tools is working like a charm.

Thx again @EdwardTFN, it is working now just like you explained… I had just to add an automation… no need changing the blueprint itself  I am a little embarrassed

But how do i got the exit reparse button?

Nope, also when removing from esphome, Tasmota 1 device but not available. I tried also Ip adres from nspanel 192.168.178.15, and to the bottom OTA upgrade> 17:14:49 [W] [web_server_base:034]
OTA Update failed! Error: Wrong Magic Byte

Under your device page (Settings > Devices and Services > ESPHome).

That OTA update button is for ESP firmware, not for TFT.
If you want to install TFT using Tasmota you can use these instructions: Prepare NsPanel - NsPanel Lovelace UI Docs

new Version is online

Very nice, incredeble work! But still no Alarm panel :frowning: And still not on the roadmap?

Maybe it’s their time and effort !

Nope:

Ah, but when updating this in Settings > Devices and Services > ESPhome, no error but the software stays old. New version 2.23.5.5 but my version keep saying 2.23.2.4 after about ten times installing (on dutch “installeer”

we work on alarm panel so we will release it with 3.5

thnx, really great,
home page performance is improved a lot,
isn’t it possible to remember the status of the other pages as well? (probably the answer is esp32 lacks the amount of memory)
and I thing I noticed in HVAC,
My heater can only heat, nothing else, still all images(schedule, reload, cool, fan, humidty) are present.

Those not supported are disabled in the climate page, right?

We had a long discussion about how to display and align those icons and in the end the conclusion was to show all options, but disable the ones not supported: Dev branch: Climate page · Issue #848 · Blackymas/NSPanel_HA_Blueprint · GitHub

2023.x.y is the version of ESPHome firmware, whoever, you also have to install the settings based on this yaml, compile it and flash to your panel.
Looks like you haven’t updated this since a while. The “Exit reparse” was introduced in v3.4, we are currently in v3.5.

Try to go to your ESPHome dashboard, compile again, and then flash to your panel using ESPHome tools. Then the “Exit reparse” button will be there.

I choose install wirelessly and i got this: (please look if i got the right subtitutions, i only changed mypasswordforwifi with the real password.
Then i choose install wirelessly (and of course i use nspanel_eu.tft as i am in Holland).

I also must say, the user and password for the NSpanel are different from my Wifi ssid and password (when i so 192.168.178.15. i must give in admin and RRGWV7M9NJHB5J6F And i have bought the NSpanel from a seller who already installed the Blueprint image on the NSpanel.

I took a closer look. And yes the are disabled. Do no bug. But works as designed. Thank you for the hard work.

Does anyone here know how to change the password of the NSpanel? Not via the command line with ip, normally the NSpanel has a user admin and password of the wifi, but that is NOT the case here, my NSpanel contains the password RRGWV7M9NJHB5J6F and that is NOT my wifi password. Even worse, I also can’t change my wifi with this password RRGWV7M9NJHB5J6F so that both are the same. My modem must always have a password with a special character, so I can’t make the NSpanel password the same as the WiFi password? See the screen I posted earlier, there is a red line at the bottom. I have enlarged the print screen of my message a bit: Here it clearly says ERROR error auth result : authentication invalid. Is the password correct? Then there are some here who say, you have to update, follow the manual so and so, but that doesn’t work, every time you try to update tft or image you get that authorization error. And I keep Waiting for content. How do I get my NSpanel completely reset or how do I get this nasty password out? And just to be clear when I received the panel, it was of course on a different WiFi account, looked up the signal and then I was able to enter my WiFi credentials, but if I contact NSpanel I still have to enter this password somehow . It’s on my wifi because I get an ip address. 192.168.178.15. but when i want to do an update or flash something i can’t connect because the panel wants that RRGWV7M9NJHB5J6F. Also in that nspanel.yaml you have to neatly enter the WiFi password and ssid, but you cannot enter the password of the NSpanel anywhere. How can I do that? Unfortunately I have been housebound for months now because I now have to do everything in the house, if that panel works, my old parents of 85 and 87 can turn the lights on and off themselves. And I can go back to work to earn money.

Í’m not 100% sure what you mean, but based on the screen shot provided this is about the OTA password,
which is a special password just for updating esphome

Copied the wrong script,
use the script @EdwardTFN mentions below

it has nothing to do with wifi.
if you want to update you need to specify your original password. (from somewhere before)
and if you want to change it check this out

but I think in your case it’s better to go to the webinterface from your esphome panel
http://yourip
and upload the .bin file manually
image
that ovoids this OTA password completely, however you might have set credentials for the webserver.

[edit] besides that, It might be smart to apply physical switches so when HA crashes one would still be able to control the lights.
Sonoff has some really nice switches for that which you can also flash with esphome
