Has @puddly ever made anything public about how they were able to spoof those inputs?

Thank you so very much for making this integration. I’m new to Home assistant so I’m still stumbling through things.
Is there any way to measure how much power my washing Machine is using?
great integration for my new appliances. Thanks
Did you ever get a resolution/answer to this? I have the same problem with the water_heater point.
Has anyone else been logged out of the GE Home app ? I’m trying to log back in and it is not allowing me back in.
Yes. I think about 2024.4.0.
Yes that sounds about right.
Just wondering if anyone has had any success at all - or have they changed something in the backend and the integration now requires an update ?
I reset my password and there was a new TOS to agree to once I logged in.
The GE Site redirects to https://geapp.my.site.com/… How can we be sure is legit and not usurped? “my.site.com” hardly seems like a legit DNS name for GE.?
I like this integration very much.
I have a GE Profile Oven. There are 2 features that I would like to request.
- Have a sensor for the timer. That is, I want to be able to create a trigger when the timer has been set and counts down to 1 minute an 0, do something, like make some lights flash in a room that I am in.
- Not sure if the internal temperature probe has a sensor, although I am pretty sure it is there as you can see it in the SmartHQ app. It would be great to be able to monitor that temperature of the meat we are cooking and even chart the progress (to estimate when the desired temperature is reached).
Well done!
@stewie923 If you haven’t figured it out already…
They recently made everyone change their passwords. So you’ll need to do that if you haven’t within the last month-ish.
Then I had to sign out of the app on my phone and then sign back in before it would prompt me to accept the new terms and conditions that @NiceMarmut referred to.
Thankyou - logging back into the App on my phone worked for me, once I had done that everything came back online in Home Assistant.
New issue here. Suddenly if I change Bake Mode to OFF, the whole device goes offline and I can’t toggle it back to ON
EDIT - somehow remote enable was turned off on the oven. It’s working now
What entitys and or sensors are exposed for the washing machines? I dont know github or code well enough to look up sorry.im mainly wanting to see the time remaining for the cycle on my dashboard
This is a really neat integration. Im appliance shopping and GE Profile devices are on my shortlist. Does this integration rely on cloud connections, or does it also work through local protocols?
Great integration - I’ve just installed it, and can see sensors for my 2-drawer Fisher & Paykel dishwasher.
For some reason the “time_remaining” attribute for both the upper and lower drawers is set to 4:03, despite the fact that the machine has been idle for a few hours (the last cycle completed about 10 hours ago).
Any idea why this might be, and what the best sensor would be to determine when a cycle has completed?
It connects to the appliance’s ethernet port.
Something that will interest probably a lot of people here to get local control : First Build, the people who used to sell the Greenbean and a venture of GE, is launching a successor of the Greenbean to connect GEA appliances to Home Assistant. They are seeking beta testers right now : Home Assistant adapter - FirstBuild
They also hinted here in the comments that it’s based on the ESP32. I’m curious now what platform they will be based on or if it’s going to be home-grown…
But not only that, they said in this video that if interest is shown, they could bring back the Greenbean!
