I've used the original post of Temtop M10+ integration (Air Quality meter) and changed it so it would correctly read the Temtop C1+ values.

had great hopes, but I think the inevitable march of esphome versions and esp-idf have appeared to break the GATT code
occurs on ESP32-D0WDQ6 and on ESP32-S3 (diff BT code)
i used:

any chance you remember esphome version and esp-idf you used??

if I can clarify where I took a wrong turn:
on line 80 - mac_address: A4:C1:38:C2:66:FA
I used the wrong mac address (oops)
the correct address is :
1- go to settings -> bluetooth -> my network -> Advertisements -> your proxy device"
2- open proxy advertisements
3- choose esp32 proxy -> advertisement-monitor
4- find your temtop, mine was "C1+_90205218739486043311"
5- the first column is the correct mac address
btw works under the following releases:
pip3 install esphome==2026.7.3 (current and ESP-IDF 5.5.5 )
pip3 install esphome==2026.6.5 ESP-IDF 5.5.4 to 5.5.5
pip3 install esphome==2026.4.0b2 ESP-IDF 5.5.3.1 to 5.5.4
pip3 install esphome==2026.3.0 ESP-IDF 5.5.2 to 5.5.3 then 5.5.3.1
