Thermostat Setpoint Change Mystery

Hi there. I installed an Anna to control my boiler and for some reason it decided to heat the house overnight as the target temperature jumped to 29.7C at 00:03:59

Unfortunatly there is nothing at all in the logbook or in the HA logs to say why this change happened. No automation triggered at that time. Anna’s schedule isn’t set up to make this change and there was no-one up and about to do a manual change as far as I know. Any ideas? How do i find the culprit?

Have you already found a solution? My Anna is doing the same and I can’t seem to find what’s causing it.

It hasn’t happpend again for me at all. The ONLY thing I can think of is that I must have dozed off with the thermostat lovelace card open and dragged it up.

I still haven’t found any way to log changes to climate entity attributes.

As a bodge I put in a simple ‘if setpoint > 25 then set it to 19’ automation.

Also, searching brought up a couple of similar situations with climate entities, but no solutions.

I created a feature request Log changes to climate.temperature in the same way as input_boolean or other entities
