My idea is to put on AC when room became too hot or with high humidity %. For this work i have aqara sensors in all rooms.

Hello,
I just installed new AC system from Toshiba. It’s connected to local network by wi-fi adapter RB-N101S-G.
Are there any plans for integrating it into home-assistant?
Thanks in advance

Hi all!
I’m having a couple of issues with using an a couple of IR bulbs attached to an ESP8266 (running ESPHome) to control my Toshiba AC unit.
I’ve managed to fumble my way into getting the coolix climate integration to work but as this integration controls the HVAC unit like the remote, it isn’t very useful for maintaining the room temp; as it will send an IR signal for the temperature you want the room to be (i.e 28C), instead of something cooler, followed by turning the AC off once it rea…
Hello! I have not found this anywhere. I noticed ESPhome contains some libraries to control A/C with IR transmitter. Does anyone have experience with Toshiba A/C? Controlling Toshiba with IR is quite complicated, it uses multi-byte commands. I have ESP library that works, but it is not part of ESPhome library. Thank you.
at that time, there is no ready made integration for toshiba AC

I am expecting tomorrow my new ac Shorai Edge. Have you manage to integrate it to HA? What is your best solution?
Has anyone managed to integrate inverter air conditioners and Toshiba splits?
