Trouble Booting HAOS on NUC11

Hello

I’m fcaing an issues while trying to boot Home Assistant Operating System (HAOS) on my NUC11. Check below-

  1. Installed the HAOS image onto a 1TB M.2 drive using Balena Etcher.
  2. Installed the M.2 drive into the NUC following a guide I found.
  3. Upon booting the NUC, I’m greeted with a “Secure Boot Violation” warning, followed by a message stating “No boot device detected.” I’m not seeing any BIOS prompt at all.

I’ve tried:

  • Disabling Secure Boot in BIOS settings.
  • Ensuring the M.2 drive is properly connected.
  • Checking and adjusting the boot order.
  • Updating the BIOS firmware.
  • Recreating the bootable drive.

Despite these attempts, issue not resloved . Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Installation - Home Assistant Community info

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you

Was secure boot enable and you had to disable it?

This may seem like a foolish question, but did you save the bios settings after disabling Secure Boot? It is possible to exit bios without saving changes and it seems unlikely that the NUC would continue to use Secure Boot if it’s disabled.
