Regarding your hack with the fixed temp with the help of a resistor …

Do you use this yourself - does it work reliably?

I do own 5 of those TRVs and trying to get the best out of them. At the moment (with the help of your hack) they might be the only TRVs where a HA Automation could control the actual opening of the valves.

And for anyone stumbling over this old thread:

  1. the Automation Advanced Heating Control makes use of an external sensor to calibrate the Tuya TRVs out of the box.
  2. I opened a Thread with best practices / Summary for these TRvs
