I would greatly appreciate your help.
I have two devices where the energy consumption data (current, voltage, power) does not reset when the device is turned off.
I’ve performed a reset, but the issue persists.
The device can be considered off when the current in the graph becomes constant and doesn’t change.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem? How can this be resolved? Thank you very much
There have been a few threads about this issue with some Tuya devices.
The solution could be to test the on/off state of the plug and set the value to zero, when it is turned off.
I can’t remember how it was done in the threads. It could be through a template sensor maybe, but try to search the forum for topics in the last 2 weeks.
I searched for similar issues but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any. However, I can say that previously, I worked with LocalTuya and there was a constant issue of disconnections
I’m trying to implement your suggestion and reset the energy consumption when the switch is turned off. I’ve set up an automation as follows, but unfortunately, it’s not working. How can I improve it, in your opinion? Thank you.
