I have a Danfoss Ally Room Sensor which appears to be a badge-engineered TS0201. Some details from the zigbee2mqtt database.db file:

Temperature updates around every 30 minutes (possibly quicker if it is changing rapidly). Humidity updates around every 30 minutes.

In its current configuration it is little more than a pathetic ornament! Disappointing for a Danfoss branded product.

Wish Ruuvi made a Zigbee version of their RuuviTag or RuuviTag Pro. They report every few seconds, with air pressure and motion, too. However, without meshing like Zigbee the range can be less.

I just wanted to share that I was able to get the TZ3000_qaaysllp TS0201 integration working through Smarththings with the help of this dev. He was able to connect the dots between the functioning ZHA device handler and his smartthings edge drivers. I now have this reporting to smartthings and HA quickly and more accurately than the device itself (bogus battery readings on LCD - always low).

I will likely switch to SkyConnect soon, so this may be moot for me if I can remove the samsung hub, but hopefully it helps others!

Did you flash this with USB-TTL? Or its an OTA flash possible.

Do you have a guide on how to complete a successful USB-TTL flash of the TS0201?

I got two TS0201 (without display). Pairing works flawless. Reporting for a while and then stop. Need to re-pair and then it works for a while again.

I just got one of these for testing, luckily just one. It was detected by home assistant then never completed the interview process. Somehow it has an error now, I can reset it as many tiimes as I want but it will never restart the interview process and is effectively a paperweight that makes me disappointed each time I see it.

There were zero reviews on aliexpress when I bought it, the seller must be new, so I took a gamble with $4 and it didn’t pay off.

I came looking for a way to flash it, it seems like a halfway decent device on the inside, but couldn’t find any easy way to flash it

Guys, out of the blue, this sensor started updating every 5 minutes, and is actually performing, atleast, to that low standard. Whereas it never worked correctly when it first paired, I saw it as a device (although it never completed the interview process) and I hit reconfigure. Still prefer a flashed xiaomi mija as it has a perfect refresh rate. But, hey, for something I already bought, I’ll take the improvement.

I guess there’s no update on these?
I just bought a couple of them, for use with Zigbee2Tasmota and the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge. It pairs fine but sends no temp/humidity readings.
I suppose they are now just dumb thermometers for all intents and purposes?
