Tuya ZigBee Smart Plug with Energy monitoring

Same thing happened to me, ordered 5x with power monitoring, arrived without. Had to order 5 new ones, again with power monitoring - the 2nd time they were the “right” ones.
No support from BSEED.

hi, i have the same plug. How did you updated the firmware? Or did you use a special quirk to get the new configs in zha?

I have TS011F by _TZ3000_o1jzcxou connected to ZBT-1

ZHA says it has unknown firmware but once it showed 0x40 = 64 but it also says up to date.

It turns on and off. No power readings. How can I update it’s firmware?

Update: it seems I accidentally ordered device without power monitor. The price difference is 1 euro. Why would they even make one without the power monitor :sob:

I bought some from various shops and in general they are not even comparable in quality to the SP111 (WiFi) I already have at home and flashed with esphome.
One (16A) has huge noise in the power readings, even if I calibrated it with a water boiler. The other two (16A and 20A) have decent power reading but still the energy consumption has to be adjusted.
See screenshot where I put them on top of each other and I connected the ventilation unit.

If accurate energy monitoring is desired, best find a way to flash esphome to a WiFi one.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it has the title I was going to use

I was just having another look for zigbee smart power sockets (for Australia) and came across Blindsmart power plugs on amazon, max 16A load, at a good price, and has quite a few 5 star reviews claiming they are easily recognised by Home Assistant.

Blindsmart’s amazon store page claims …

Blindsmart, a trusted child brand of Zemismart, is your gateway to a truly intelligent and effortless curtain control solution.

Sounds too good to be true.

While Blindsmart amazon store includes lots of Zemismart products, the smart plug is not on Zemismart website … and I cannot find a Blindsmart website (no blind smart, but plenty for blinds mart). Neither Blindsmart or the WHDZ05 model number is in the blakadder.com database.

So … I’m thinking that blindsmart may be just one more reseller, who have added zemismart and common cheap chinese products to their catalog

I am wondering if any of you have experience or knowledge of blindsmart ? Too soon to ask about product reliability.
