Continuing the discussion from Now completely confused about getting hassio onto Raspbian :
I have just noticed there are 2 Ubuntu distributions (core and server) for a Raspberry Pi - no idea how long they have been available.
The questions are then
Has anyone installed HA Supervised on to Ubuntu on an RPi?
Is ubuntu on a Raspberry Pi a supported OS? <GRD>

Ubuntu is a supported OS, and yes, people have installed ubuntu on a Pi and supervised on it. It is the preferred way to use a SSD with a Pi4.

Great, thanks @francisp . I’ve got an RPi4 + SSD but using Raspbian as I had not realised there was an Ubuntu distribution for the RPi. Looks like a lockdown project to migrate!
Any tips on moving the rootfs to the SSD with Ubuntu?
was an easy install of Ubuntu 20.04 server on Raspberry Pi 4, powered on right away.
Now working on getting HassOS to run via KVM, see topic
