UK Plug Socket (inside switch) zigbee 3.0 switch

Does anyone have any advise for this? I want to put something inside the plug socket to control this? I’m sure a brand existed before, can’t recall the name. Would one of the SONOFF ones work? Or are these for light switches?

This one ?

No. Not a smart plug (like this or lightwaverf)

Something that sits inside a dump uk plug socket

Ah ok. Any smart relay that is rated enough for the socket then. Note for a double socket you’ll need enough to switch 26A, not sure they exist as both sockets are connected internally.

This is what I need to control.

Might just be easier to replace the switch socket and use a smart adapter. Just wanted something inside switch that was zigbee. Google has failed me this time

Gotcha, that’s not a socket but a fused switch spur flex outlet. You could use a smart relay behind but make sure its rated for 13A+ Note there will most likely not be room behind there for it, you’ll need to remove the backbox and fit a deeper 47mm one.

There is a smart FSU available but it’s WIFI

That could work. Do you have one? Can anyone confirm this works with HA?

No I haven’t got one. The post above does show an unofficial MQTT python service but has a bit of setting up by looks of it

Just come across this looks ideal for you
