My Insteon Hub was left with the ethernet unplugged overnight and now says in HA “Failed setup, will retry” and I assume the IP address of the hub is different. The obvious fix is to update the IP for the Insteon integration in HA but it appears there’s no way to do that. The instructions say to “add device” in the integrations > configure, but all the devices are already there and I don’t want duplicates or zombie devices. I’m also noticing I cannot see the old Insteon IP in HA so I cannot even verify this is the issue. What’s the best way to get an existing Insteon configuration running again when the problem is as simple as temporarily disconnected ethernet?
I found this image in this post in these forums. I can’t find it, anyone know where to find this IP address input field?
Did you ever find a solution to this? The screenshot you show used to be available in Home-Assistant, however, it doesn’t appear to be any longer. It has to be somewhere, I can’t imagine the developer thought the IP would never change and I really don’t want to spend another 2 hours re-configuring Insteon.

change the modem connection
it’s a hack, but it saved my bacon
Sadly “change the modem connection” does nothing when I click on it. I’m over 6 months without Insteon working at this point.
Did the dialog appear to let you change the IP address? There isn’t a Save/Update/OK button visible, but I pressed Tab a few times to move between the fields and there is a hidden button after the last field! When that is highlighted, press Enter and the IP address will be saved!
