I have a working configuration of Home assistant. This is built on a Raspberry Pi 4b with “Raspberry Pi, Home Assistant Operating System”. Because I can’t solve a few problems with this setup, I configured a new setup. I chose “Linux, Home Assistant Supervised” on the same Raspberry Pi. I can solve my problems with this.
Now I would like to use the back-up of my old configuration for the new one. This is mainly to recover the Node Red programming.
Can I do this without damaging my new setup?
Can I use a full back-up or should I use a partial backup?
