Currently a user can define a time format only:

When language is set to “English”, we get the “MM / DD / YYYY” presentation of date:

When language is set to “Russian”, we get the “DD.MM.YYYY” presentation of date:

Unfortunately, I cannot use English and “DD.MM.YYYY” simultaneously.
I propose to add a “Date format” selection field.

Have you tried English (GB)
as a language? This is what I use and I never noticed a date in MM/DD/YYYY.
Thanks a lot for the advice!
It works.
English:

English (GB):

But anyway - assume someone wants to see the “DD.MM.YYYY” format - then the “Date format” settings will be useful…

Indeed, user’s should be able to select date format. I’ve voted already! ![ ](https://community.home-assistant.io/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=10)
