What is usb device path?

I am progressing slowly down the process of installing HA to use with Insteon. This is the latest hurdle that I reached.
The instruction reads
Adding Insteon to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by using this My button:

When I click the button, I get a popup window requesting USB Device Path

There is no indication what this might be. I looked for similar questions on this board and found this response

This person is on a windows machine where I am using a Raspberry Pi. I am unsure of how to apply his solution.

Another user said the following:
With the home assistant instance up and running go to the Supervisor β†’ System β†’ log and then unplug the PLM from your machine. Look in the logs for an entry that says the device has been removed, it will give you the full Linux based device path ID which is what you need. Plug the PLM back in and you should see a similar device connected log entry with the same device path ID. Use that entire path string in the model pop-up of the integration set up.

However, I don’t see a Supervisor/System/log option in the left hand menu.!

Can anyone help me tell me how to determine the USB DEVICE PATH?

Menu options have been moved around a bit in the last few releases.
You might find what you need in Settings β†’ System β†’ Hardware β†’ 3 dots in upper right corner

I don’t have three dots there, any idea?

Sounds like you are not running Supervisor, so what version of HA are you running?

Settings β†’ About

No supervisor mentioned.
Then I do not know how to proceed, because the function you need is part of the supervisor, I think.
Hope someone else can help here.
