Positive:

  • Local
  • Pairs easily with ZHA - 2 gang socket is one Zigbee device with two switch entities
  • Acts as router - strong radio signal
  • Can be switched on and off manually, including when HA not available
  • LED on switch shows on/off status
  • Child lock
  • Poweron modes: on, off, laststate

Negative:

  • No good if you don’t have Zigbee

Comment:

Early days yet, but these sockets have been problem-free so far. Very pleased with them.

When doing such lists it is also important to get hardware and firmware versions recorded, because they can have huge impact on the performance.
A picture of the physical board might be necessary to help determine the hardware version, so that should be added too.
