Will not update from 101.2 to 101.3

I see there is an update for hassio but it will not update. Also my snapshot feature is not working. is anyone else seeing this problem?

Log or system log errors?

Well by the time I got home today Hassio had completely crashed. I could not get to the UI to see errors.

What I figure is that I seen the update and then ran the Check Home assistant configuration addon. Everything started to fail after that.

I have now restored from a day old Proxmox snapshot to get things running again.

Tried to update again and got these errors in system log:

Seems like something is missing in the 101.3 release. 6 days later I’m still having the same issue as OP in trying to update my hassio install.

19-11-14 12:01:15 WARNING (MainThread) [hassio.homeassistant] Update Home Assistant image fails

I’ve never had any issues updating through hassio before. Not sure whats going on here.

My HA instance also fails to start after the update. How did you guys access the system log without a working user interface?

SSH

SSH, SAMBA, NFS, SCP, SFTP…pick your poison.

I guess I’m slightly different… I try to start the update, the button kind of spins, then it just gives up. My home assistant and hassio never even restart. I just pulled these lines from the hass io system log.

Same log entries, but my hass instance stays running & accessible.

Hi.
I’m unable to update from 0.100.3 to 0.101.3

It fails and rolls back to 0.100.3, then simply restarts and works as before.

same here…

the 404 appears to indicate the file is not in the repo ?

+1 for me too sadly.

I believe it’s related, but I’m still a n00b.
I was reinstalling my NUC, and am currently trying to add Hassio into Docker.

I was trying to run …

curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/home-assistant/hassio-installer/master/hassio_install.sh | bash -s -- -m intel-nuc

The install initially seems to go fine …

[Info] Install supervisor Docker container
[Info] Install supervisor startup scripts
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/hassio-supervisor.service → /etc/systemd/system/hassio-supervisor.service.
[Info] Install AppArmor scripts
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/hassio-apparmor.service → /etc/systemd/system/hassio-apparmor.service.
[Info] Run Hass.io

… but once this completes, the final setup stalls as it gets into a loop.
When I look in Portainer, at the output from the supervisor, I’m seeing a lot of 404s …

I tried to use qemux86, but get similar.

It could be due to low space on the filesystem maybe… I will try and look into that

Me too update process fails

I had the same problem… turns out, I was out of Diskspace, LVM allways get me…

try df -h…

How may I check space used/available on hass.io virtual machine? Is there terminal code to use?

Edit: I followed instructions herein to increase disksize and I was able to update successfully.

This turned out to be my issue. I tweaked my virtualbox VM recently and forgot to increase disk size before booting. D’oh.

Up and running on 101.3 now.

My disk space usage is 10.9%, so it’s not because of low space… any other explanation?

I just tried again, nothing to do…
