Wink config - Redirect URI is not authorized

Hello all, trying to find some answers here. I’ve looked through all the other errors and none of them were able to resolve my issue so I’m hoping someone else has some more ideas.

Below is my Wink API config.

Here is everything I’ve done.

  1. Deleted the .wink.config file and started over
  2. Tried Chrome/FireFox/IE & an Incognito tab
  3. Tried both IP and FQDN
  4. Edited my URL and tried
  5. Rebooted a bunch of times
  6. My callback URI is - https://api.wink.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=HEobUnbMPUTO82KjGycAFF84U01igsjd&redirect_uri=http%3A//192.168.1.19%3A8123/auth/wink/callback

I’m sure i’m missing something goofy, but i think i’ve been looking at it too long. Anyone else see anything?

My HA server is a VM running Ubuntu 18.04 and the Wink hub is a gen 1 fully patched, if that matters.

You are able to access HA from the IP address you have listed? Can you post a picture of the error. Also you should probably block out some of those characters in the client ID and client secret. Don’t want anyone using them and getting your account revoked.

Make sure you delete the .wink.conf after HA is shutdown not while it is running.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure if they would all be needed or not.

So yes, I am able to get into HA fine using that IP/port.

And I was also able to delete the wink.confi file after i shut down the HA service on my server. So it was shut down when I removed it.

Are you accessing the IP with http or https? Also did you change the redirect uri? Meaning did you set it once and then change it for some reason? I think some users have said it takes time to update if you change it.

Just http. I did change the redirect a few times while troubleshooting. I can give it a few more hours. Do you happen to remember how login the previous users said it took? I mean really its not very pressing. This just looks amazing and i can wait to see the capabilities!

I don’t recall. Can you add additional redirect Uris? Maybe try to add another one and see if it forces the update?

Unbelievable…look at the original URI i posted. There is a period at the end of it. Took it out and i’m fine now. So sorry to waste your time. I do appreciate your help. Great product here!
