Yes I noticed that earlier today.

I don’t think all the components are supported in esphome (yet).

PS how is the sky in your part of nz. Very Australian here. Quite spooky.

Great !!

If this ttgo wristband suppports ESPHOME, it will affect many other things.

I wish wearable devices support ESPHONE ASP.

thx for your information.

New Plymouth Sun has a red glo and spooky

+1 to have support in esphome!

it would be the perfect in-house room occupancy tracker!

Except you’d have to wear the ugly thing!

eventually you can remove the wriststrap and carry the dongle in your pocket

Good point!

I’ll admit it. I ordered one. My inner geek could not resist. :upside_down_face:

Looks like, the esp32 can do quite a lot with some good firmware.

It would be nice if it had some sort of wireless charging but I imagine that would add to the cost somewhat.

Mine arrived today - has yours? Just starting to play around with firmware options. Only found this so far: https://github.com/Xinyuan-LilyGO/LilyGO-T-Wristband

Not yet. Hoping to see it within a week or so…

Going to try to get ESPHome running on it. Will share if I have any joy.

##UPDATE##

It works like a charm. Don’t have the screen or the MPU working yet but have a basic ESPHome sketch running on the device and should now be able to flash it with updates OTA.

This is great!

so basically what are you able to do so far with EspHome?

I have the ADCs working to monitor battery voltage and I can turn the LED on and off through HASS. Working on the display at the moment. Have found this custom component but don’t have it working yet: https://github.com/aaronh86/ST7735R_ESPHome.

What about BLE?

Mine arrived in the US over the weekend.
Hope to receive it this week.

UPDATE: It arrived tonight. Put it on the charger, will check it out in more detail Tuesday evening.

I’d be interested to know the battery life while on wifi

I can’t browse GitHub from work. :frowning: Does that LilyGO-T-Wristband repository contain the factory default code? If I screw something up, I’d really like to be able to restore it properly.

Well, I didn’t need to worry about screwing anything up. Came home today, and it would not wake up. Opened the case, and the screen is farked. Just random color horizontal scan lines and one big swoop of a curve across the lower-right hand corner. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
