Are you able to give any pointers as to where I should look to make changes to be able to use the latest version ESPHome?
You’d best ask the author of the external component being used.
Hi, this is a fantastic board, and I’ve been using it with great success for a couple of years. I am curious though if anyone had any chance to add an ethernet module to it (W5500) using ESPHome? I was able in the past, but it seems now the screen is using the same spi interface, and can’t use both of them together. Any help is appreciated.
I’m still using it with my original configuration, no issues running it on the latest ESPHome version here.
Is that using Ethernet or WiFi? Could you let me know if it is Ethernet how the interface is configured? The screen config Clyde built looks more robust and glitch-free, but it uses the same interface I previously had for the W5500 module, and I was not able to configure this Ethernet module on another interface. Any help is appreciated.

You can configure the display on the other SPI interface if the default conflicts with Ethernet.
