WTH - allow us to delete 'statistics' or other long term data via the GUI

Right now, statistics, and recorder are configured via YAML … can this be moved to UI and also then make it easier for us to set/configure retention periods for different entity classes?

Another bonus, would be to allow us to manually delete long term data if we find out DB/storage is getting too full. Right now, sometimes we don’t know what is contributing the most of the DB usage.

I am all for the different retention period for different entity classes.
I want my energy data for a lot longer than the log of who turned a light on (or many other not important things).
