WTH inputting values to time fields is so NOT mobile friendly?

Would be really great to have a mobile-friendly way to input/change values of all the time fields out there (input_datetime - the time part, timer entity settings etc) - I’d propose to have it shown as iOS does it:

or the mozilla way (less elegant, but similar concept):

The current way of using a keyboard on mobile is not comfortable and prone to input errors.

I’d also propose to apply this to the current solution with changing the history period for viewing history of an entity.

Yes, selecting a time is annoying.
Personally I like the Android/Material picker better as it requires only 3 quick clicks/taps to select a time (tap hour, minutes, OK) instead of spin-to-win a time (maybe I am just clumsy with those controls, but it seems hard/timeconsuming to get the exact time I want).
