Hello, it would be very helpful for me if the burglar alarm functions were also supported in the HA integration - especially the arming and disarming function.
Would you develop this functionalities? I Could share you my system.
Thanks

Hi everybody and thank you for your work!
There seems to be no decent smoke alarm which can be integrated to HA which can also be used as a siren for other purposes.
Is it already working to enable/disable the alarm in HA?
Hi. Just installed the Base Station SBS-50 and 4 x XS01-M smoke alarms via your integration. Install worked like a charm. Now, let’s test all the functions and see what automations I can establish.
Just installed a SBS50 base station and a XS01-M smoke detector. When I push the test button on the smoke detector I get a notification from the app but nothing in home assistant (neither base station nor smoke detector entities). Is this expected behaviour that test alarms are not visible in home assistant or is there an error in my setup? (Have not tried a 'real alarm’with candle smoke yet)
Hello, I have the same issue with XC0C-iR. I see all entities, but their values do no update, unless I reload the integration.
Did you manage to solve this?
Thanks in advance

I did a test by leaving the sensor in a closed box with a lit incense stick (which releases CO).
From what I tested the entities autoupdate but only when they change value.
If the concentration of CO increases the sensor promptly signals it and the entity changes value.
In essence if an entity does not change value the ‘last update’ value doesn’t change unless you reload HA for example but don’t worry cause if a value changes the entities update their values.
Alarm in HA will only work with a real alarm, Not by pressing the testbutton.
Hi everyone,
I have installed 2 XH02-M heat detectors, 8 XS01-M smoke detectors, and 3 SWS51 water leak detectors. The smoke and water leak detectors work as expected, but unfortunately, the test button for the heat detectors is missing in Home Assistant. However, it does appear in the app.
Is the test button for the XH02-M heat detectors not yet supported in Home Assistant?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
Upgraded Core to 2025.3.0b0 and I think this is error related.
I’ll report to HA beta also.

@theosnel is working on it.
I got a few xp02s-mr fire detector running
If there is any need for testing this device please let me know.
Cheers Robert
@Jarnsen, I’ve just pushed the changes for compatibilty paho-mqtt 2.1.0. The changes are small, but it took some time to get my development environment up to date.
This update only works with home assistant 2025.3.0 (including beta) and later. On earlier versions the mqtt-connection will be broken, so no live updates

I have to say I’m a bit uncomfortable with your remarks. This module is still a work in progress, without any help from XSense, which makes it difficult to get everything working. XSense started out very friendly, but they now they don’t even respond—or take action—regarding a few security flaws I reported.
Fortunately, many of you have given me access to your devices so we can add support.
I started this module as a hobby, for relaxation, to do a bit of reverse engineering, and to learn how to develop for Home Assistant. These last weeks, I’ve been very busy with other things. That should be fine for a hobby project, but I’m starting to feel pressured now.
I do feel uneasy about people building automations on top of this still-maturing code. It’s not production-quality yet and likely contains bugs, so please don’t rely on it for critical scenarios.
Updating the scan interval to five seconds also doesn’t seem like a great idea. You run the risk of being blocked (which I’ve experienced), and XSense told me in the past that they don’t mind a custom module as long as we don’t overwhelm their system with requests.
I will try to figure out why the notifications aren’t working for you. So far, they’ve worked fine for me (smoke and water detectors).
Hello Theo
This is not meant to be an attack at all. I think it’s great that you’re trying to get this system into Home Assistant. I just wanted to ask if I’m doing something wrong. In Discord, I was then asked to describe it again here. In fact, the 5-second change seems to be an improvement. Of course, if that’s not actually the solution or can’t be, that’s fine too.
I would love to be able to save myself the XSense app and have everything run through Home Assistant. But if that doesn’t work, it’s a nice add-on. But there is no pressure or expectations on my part.
Ok, i will set the Minimum Version to 2025.3.0
can you repost English as per Forum rules and you might get some more replies👍🏻
Hi! i just got myself a home Assistant Server for connecting our X-Sense house alarm with an external Tuya siren and existing Philips Hue and Osram LED lights
Is it possible to add the following devices?
Thx in advance and king regards
Thinking of purchasing the alarm bundle as well and was also curious if this integration can pull in the alarm system status. Have you attempted to add it to HA yet?
Hello, I use the smoke detectors XS0B-MR61 and have them integrated into Home Assistant via your integration. Thanks for all the effort so far.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be an integration for pressing the smoke detectors test button. This feature is available in the iOS App (“Alarm Exercise” or “Alarmübung”).
Can I somehow support by providing any data to integrate this for the XS0B-MR61?
