Did you have much luck removing the zwave module @jb567? I went to some lithium ion AA batteries which seemed to work well for about 8 months. Then after I recharged them they seem to deplete after 2 weeks, same with another brand.
Seems like its the dreaded Zwave polling again? 
Mine was definitely a hardware fault, I removed the module and it was still eating batteries. I think was a short somewhere on the circuitry.

Was anyone able to use this lock with zwave AND have some key fobs programmed?
It needs a factory reset for zwave to pair, but then I can’t connect to it with phone when I replace the module to bluetooth. It looks like both zwave and bluetooth modules require the lock to be factory reset, which makes it impossible to use with zwave and fobs.
Anyone?
