How can i check what are “parent” devices for some of my sensors ? I’ve read that Aqara devices select parent during pairing and stick with it. I want to make sure that they use light switches ( which are wired and always powered) rather then light bulbs ( some of which are powered off at times ) to avoid dropping senors from the network.
I’ve downloaded MQTT explorer, looked around HA/Z2M logs/settings, couldn’t identify anything. How can i check parent for each device ?

The map tab will show this although I find it does not always show how they are connected.
My experience is it depends on the device. For instance the zigbee 1.2 door sensor is very stubborn and will not move, others seem to roam pretty well, others only when their router is unavailable.
Easiest way to force it is to pair or re-pair the device using the specific router you want. If re-pairing you do not need to delete from z2m first. Simply enable permit join via the correct router and put the device into pairing mode.
and that brings me to initial question - how do i check it ?

is this somewhere in a config file or database entry where it can be looked up ?
The map shows parent for all end devices. If it is hard to tell, select the end device and it will be highlighted, making it easy to determine the parent.
