ZHA as routeur

Hello.
i have a ZHA with a sonoff 3.0 USB Dongle Plus.
No problem to create à zigbee network, but i would like to know if it’s possible to ZHA to JOIN à network and not to use permit join?
So my ZHA will be a routeur and not a coordinator.
I know it’s strange and many people will say why! but i need this because i want to join a network where i already have a coordinator ans can’t change this

No. ZHA only works as a coordinator, and only one coordinator is allowed per zigbee net.

hello jerrm,
in this topic he said that he use sonoff as routeur:
SONOFF ZBDongle-P set up as router with skyconnect coordinator - router goes offline after awhile - Configuration / Zigbee - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io)

it’s just a sonoff dongle as routeur and not manage by ZHA?

Correct. It’s just another mains device joined to the network as far as ZHA is concerned, with tx power being the only attribute. Probably plugged in along the wall into a usb charger like the three sticks I use as routers.

ZBDongle-P sticks with router firmware make for very good router devices for any zigbee net, but don’t interact with HA in any other way.
