ZHA Zigbee Tested Devices...Please add your device results

You’ll need to pay child support until it’s 18.
Sorry, not a useful comment, but I couldn’t resist.

Does it show up in .storage\zha.storage?

It looks like something that got stuck in core.device_registry for some reason.

It was in my code.device_registry. Cleared it out there and looks like I’m good to go. Thanks for the kick in the right direction

I am using xbee s2b with latest coordinator software on a ubuntu based docker container.
I successfully paired a STS-IRM-250 motion sensor and a Xiaomi Aqara vibration sensor, but then, I had to swap my xbee s2b coordinator board to one that supported a bigger antenna and I have not been able to get anything to pair back to it.
I deleted the entity, I cleared all the references to zha in the .storage folder as well as the zigbee.db file. As far as I can tell, I’ve reset everything to a state where there is no reference to any zha anywhere. The motion sensor pairs with my smarthings hub but I want to use it through HA.

I have the following specific questions:
-Is there any information that somehow got saved in the homeassistant.db file that I can remove from the database that could be the problem?
-I am confused about the 'zha.permit" service. Is it necessary to allow fo devices to connect to the coordinator, or is it essentially the same as using the Add Device button in the zha integration UI?
-I get the following warning in the log. Is it normal or could it point to what the problem is?
Not saving uninitialized 00:13:a2:00:40:a7:8a:4b/0x0000 device: Status.NEW
-The log from zigpy seems fairly terse. Can I get it to be more verbose?
-Can I run the zigpy and zigpy-xbee python in a shell rather than through HA to see if I can get more info?
Thoughts? Is there something I’m missing?

zha.permit is the same as “Add Device” button from zha config panel.

Ignore that error for now. it’s harmless it would be fixed. eventually.

Enable debug logging in homeassistant-core for homeassitant.components.zha, zigpy_xbee.zigbee.application and zigpy_xbee.api modules

Make sure the device is reset. Enable debug logging and see if there’s any traffic. And FYI S2B xbees do not support groups, so you won’t be able to receive updates from certain devices which send updates using multicast

Great! Thanks for the help. The logging pointed me to the fact that some of the zigbee commands were failing. I re-flashed the zigbee coordinator API in XCTU, making sure to turn off “Force the module to maintain its current configuration”, and it was able to pair, so it was a problem with how I had flashed the firmware in XCTU. The STS-IRM-250 worked right away and the Xiaomi Aqara vibration sensor took a bunch of button presses on the device to pair.

Anyone running the aqara zigbee lightbulb? I connected one a while back, but it seemed to come up as a thermostat or something, with a field showing tempterature (instaed of colour temperature). Has this device been integrated?

This is the one i’m talking about here - https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt/issues/621
and here - Aqara Zigbee LED Bulb E27

Yesterday I’ve migrated from Z2MQTT to ZHA. Almost all of the devices are now in zha, but the one I’m having issues with is the aqara ,QBKG04LM, single switch without neutral.

It comes up in HA with 4 sensors, 2 lightbulbs and 3 switches. One of the lightbulbs does listen to the state of the switch, but I can’t send an on or off signal to it. I’ve tried repairing it multiple times now and comes up everytime the same. Also there aren’t any zha_events showing up while pressing the button.

In the pastebin the log of the pairingprocess. Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction?

Did you ever get anywhere with using this remote? I’ve just bought a couple and can only use the I / O buttons currently which is a shame as it has the potential to be really useful.

No I sold mine in the end

Hey, so I’m a bit of a newb at this stuff, but I’m trying to get up to speed quickly.

Got a couple new Ikea Tradfri wireless dimmer on/off buttons (E1743) and when I added them to ZHA all that’s showing up is the battery status, which is not useful. In the logs I get “No handler for cluster command 0” (also, 1, 5, 7 depending on which button, or long/short press)

Through ZHA I was able to bind the switch to another zigbee device (a plug) and it was working fine. I’m just missing a step where I can get the button presses to be sent into HA as events. Right now they are pretty useless as I want to ultimately control zwave and other devices with them.

Any help on this? (below is the output as I added one of the devices to ZHA

What HA core version?
Enable debug for homeassistant.core component and check for zha events. Or on dev page -> events, listen to zha_event

HA 0.106.5
It’s been fixed according to this: https://github.com/dmulcahey/zha-device-handlers/pull/292
Should be working soon!

I’ve skimmed through the thread, but I haven’t seen much info on Philips Hue Sensors.

I have 11 Hue sonsors and I’ve just moved to ZHA from Deconz. My experience thus far has been terrible.

Are philips hue motion sensors supported? I’ve paired the sensors in ZHA to the Conbee II but they barely work.

how can you control a group of zigbee bulbs once youve created the group?

ZHA Zigbee Tested Devices...Please add your device results just drop manufacturer

even without the manufacturer nothing happens bulbs are turning on or off.

In other words exactly what it was supposed to do

No you’ve taken part of my sentence they are doing nothing.

Has anyone tried ZHA with CC2531 yet?
I’ve added it successfully through integrations but it can’t find any lights/sensors.

Seems to be timing out and giving a webhooks error

Any ideas?

What kind of bulbs. I had my hue bulbs on zigbee, and they did in fact turn on/off with zigbee groups, but never reporting thier stateback, so HA did not show them as on/off. I was sitting in my office running the group commands thinking the lights were not doing anything, when in fact they were.
