Zigbee / Centralite Thermostats, HA 3156105, better support?

I’m trying to get this to work with homeassistant. It’s a Zigbee device, cheap thermostat (found here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IUN4K3C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

Only switch detected are for the fan (sets speed, on/off, works fine), and it does pick up that it has a battery (no reading though). The device itself is able to sync the current time and show the signal strength from my pi4 hub.

Anyone working on this, or have suggestions on where I should look at adding support for this affordable thermostat option?

They’re popping up on eBay for next to nothing too -

I tried another pi w/ conbee. Mozilla IoT has decent support for it. Although, unlike HA, it doesn’t seem to sync the time. Also doesn’t have battery life remaining.

Update on this; seems like this is supported well with the new beta Zigbee Climitate support. Can confirm heat settings for a boiler are working properly. I don’t have AC or forced air / fan, but those settings appear to also work with testing them. Battery is not reporting yet, I’ll look into cluster settings and see what I can find and contribute if I’m able to figure it out.
