I’m new to HA (but a lifelong geek) and want to start by doing an alarm system. I can’t seem to find entry keypads that are available in the US market. I’ve read Immax Neo Keypad in Home Assistant with Alarmo for example, and the Frient and Linkind devices mentioned there are not in the US market, One of the comments has has Build Your Own Local Controlled Smart Home Alarm!, but again, the parts in the blog are in EU (of course). What keypad can I buy? Thanks!
What definitely works and I have it running since a few months is the Frient Keypad Zigbee Intelligent Keypad - secure, and keyless access control - frient
You can integrate it via Zigbee. Works fine with ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT. Have tested both.
Back then it was hard to come by though, had to order in France. Maybe availability is better now.
