Moved into a new house last year which has hot water baseboard heat (3/4" copper feeds to each room). The thermostat which controls the boiler is located in the living room, therefore, some rooms are colder/warmer than the remainder. Looking for suggestions for Zigbee zone valves. No rooms have valves currently. I’m thinking of installing the standard Uponor valves, but are there any actuators that would work with them??
I have a similar problem. Did you get any answers?
Thank you - Rowan
I ended up using Danfoss angle valves. As for the actuators, I’ve not had luck - I purchased a Tuya for testing. However, it’s more standalone than anything, no way to turn it on remotely, so I haven’t gone any further since it’s the middle of winter here. The valves, however, are normally open so I’ve had no issue with heating from the thermostat.
