It is and notifications do work. I am actually creating a video about this because I have answered this question so many times on multiple threads (will be easier for me ). I will push that video to yt in a few hours and post it here.
The fix in that video works a 100% (it is actually not a fix but the correct setup procedure).
Anyways, for now: keep the app open on your phone, restart HA but don’t close the app!! Make sure your phone doesn’t get locked in between. When you are back online it should work. If not you will have to start the onboarding process again (remove old integration via ui first). After onboarding repeat the steps above immediately after the onboarding is completed.
I have been able to use V2 of the app with HA .100 by going into airplane mode, starting the app, turning off airplane mode, and pulling down in the app to refresh. It seems to last a day? It is a simple work around while I wait for an update.
Saw the TestFlight build, but my valiant attempts to get this working have failed miserably. Attempting to hit “continue” to open the browser to authenticate does absolutely nothing.

Do you guys use cloud?
Have you tried auth with internal as well as external access? Seem to remember some issue with that… (ie WLAN access and/or external via duckdns or cloud))
