Just updated HA to 2022.4.0. After restart I got this error:
Unable to set up dependencies of telegram. Setup failed for dependencies: telegram_bot
I was so excited with the new features that I took my chance and updatedā¦andā¦gree integration stopped working, esphome lost all configured devices source code 
and File editor couldnt access any filesā¦I was lucky to have recent backup.
Iām never updating to anything with a zero in its version number. Never!

Same issue. See above. I donāt understand why this has not been identified during release testing. Seems that something is wrong here.
Perhaps you should join beta and be part of that testing.

Oh my.
I originally chose HA because I could configure it all in text and back up man readable files to restore things. Now youāre going away from just that.
Much as I hate YAML am I allowed to be sad?

For Switch as X, is there a way to āreverseā the options? IE if Switch is on then lock is locked, if switch is off then lock is unlocked?
As an example I have a shelly 1 that Iām using with a drop bolt lock. For safety reasons, the lock must be on if there is power, if there is no power then the lock will automatically unlock.
Come on people. Iām so over people complaining about x.0 releases. Each month there are often 5-8 updates after a .0. While I usually update to .0, because Iām impatient, I always understand that there are possibilities of issues. The more common an integration is, the less likely an issue, but thatās no guarantee. If you canāt handle the possibility of an outage or issue, just wait a few weeks. Maybe make a personal policy of only updating to X.3 releases, etc.

same here on supervised installation
Looks like Sun integration doesnāt work after the update. Integration shows up in the list but it doesnāt have any entities - i.e., sun.sun doesnāt exist any more.
Edit: it came back after restart.

I have upgraded to 2022.4 . Statistics and history are not yet available 2:20h after upgrade.
How long does the database upgrade take (size mariadb is +/- 2GB :: events 725 Mb, states 1 GB, statistics 103 Mb)? Is there any message displayed when upgrade database is finished?

Nonsense, esphome is a separate addon and although the source files are in /config/esphome, they arenāt touched by core.

I really appreciate all the works that devs put into home assistantā¦
But its gonna be more and more pain in the ass to check all breaking changes everytimeā¦
And and more and more often things break after monthly update 
I knew about gpio / dht sensor but now telegramā¦ last month card mod didnt work anymore.
Dont wanna be partypooper because really appreciate all the work but sometimes think that more thinking about releases / breaking changes can be doneā¦

It wasnāt showing up it entities list and dev tools. Came back after restart though. Probably just an issue with first start after update.
Nonsense or not, thatās what happened. After the upgrade I clicked on ESPHome addon and saw empty list of devices. Tried restarting HA as well as whole system and nothing. I have also noticed that Samba addon couldnt access the config folder (permissions?) while it could access everything else.

After Reboot Fritz Box Connect fails. Password Error. I can 't fix it.
Are the yaml files in config/esphome?
